Take time not to miss a thing at Lavender’s gift shop in Alresford

It may be a wee boutique but there is plenty to love about Lavenders in Alresford. This charming little treasure trove is bursting with gorgeous gifts and homewares. I recommend visiting with plenty of time on your hands. Every nook and cranny is packed with lovely things diverting your attention. I’m sure I spent a good hour in there on my last visit, happily nosing through the contents, not wanting to miss a thing.

I was particularly pleased to discover Emily Bond’s quirky designs. Inspired by the British countryside, the gorgeous Scottish linens are adorned with a wide range of dog breeds, as well as horses and dairy cows. I snapped up what has now become my favourite tea towel, even though I was meant to be buying a gift!
